The post-Drew Brees era has begun for the New Orleans Saints and the franchise may not be sold on Taysom Hill or Jameis Winston as the future of the franchise, according to ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler. Despite Hill signing a monster extension in March and Winston re-signing with the team, the Saints are looking at Florida signal caller Kyle Trask in the 2021 NFL Draft with one of their later-round selections.

Last season, Trask completed 68.3% of his passes for 4,283 yards and 43 touchdowns as one of college football’s most potent passers.

“I’m told the Saints could be a sneaky contender to draft a quarterback somewhere in Day 2 or Day 3,” Fowler said. “I was at Florida’s Pro Day Nike Taysom Hill Jersey, this week to see Kyle Trask throwing and I was told there was a little buzz from the Saints, who like Trask’s game. So he could be a contender for him, whose considered a Day 2 pick.

“Maybe they can get somebody they can develop behind Jameis Winston and Taysom Hill for a year and hav a guy they can slide in for 2022.”

According to NFL Network Bucky Brooks, Trask has a chance to shine in a system that features a strong offensive unit.

“He threw the ball over the yard with tremendous success,” Brooks said on the Move the Sticks Special on NFL Network. “He got the ball to the playmakers, he had a talented cast of players, certainly. But he did a great job of Color Rush Taysom Hill Jersey, getting them the ball where they could make plays. I think he’s a little old school in the way that he plays, a more traditional drop-back passer.

“But in an offense with a big offensive line that allows him to push the ball down the field and also work the outside part of the field, he certainly can be effective. He could have a nice career in the right spot.”

The quarterbacks currently on roster won’t be giving up their spots easily. Winston said this spring that he is looking forward to re-branding himself this season with the Saints. He’ll be in a competition with Hill for QB1 honors.

“I never wanted to be deemed a game manager,” Winston said last month to NFL Network’s Steve Wyche and Jim Trotter on the Huddle & Flow podcast. “But really, that game manager is not a bad piece. That’s something that Taysom Hill Jersey Amazon, I think just comes with being a professional quarterback. Being able to not just only do the things that you can do, but being able to do the things that you should not do — like what not to do versus what can I do.”
