The Eagles made the following roster moves ahead of Sunday Night Football against the Washington Football Team:
• Eagles place CB Nickell Robey-Coleman on the Reserve/COVID-19 list
The primary slot corner, Robey-Coleman started in seven of 15 games, including each of the past four in his first year with the Eagles. The Eagles’ starting secondary is now without Robey-Coleman (illness), cornerback Avonte Maddox (IR), Womens Adrian Killins Jersey, safety Rodney McLeod (IR), and safety Jalen Mills (COVID-19 list).
In a move that could leave some Eagles fans shaking their head, Philadelphia has reportedly brought back former undrafted free agent, Adrian Killins on a two-year deal, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle is reporting.
Killins was signed by the Eagles as an undrafted free agent following the 2020 NFL Draft, and was waived on September 3, 2020, during final roster cuts, but re-signed to the team’s practice squad three days later.
Killins was then promoted to the active roster on October 3 and again waived on October 5, before being signed to the practice squad.
Last season for the Eagles, the former Central Florida star had 1 rushing attempt for -12 yards and caught one pass from Carson Wentz for two-yards.
As a senior at UCF, Killins rushed for 629 yards and seven touchdowns and caught eight passes for 120 yards and one touchdown, while earning second-team All-AAC.
Killins finished his collegiate career with 2,459 rushing yards and 25 rushing touchdowns.
Who is available for the Eagles in the secondary? Grayland Arnold, Blake Countess, Marcus Epps, Rudy Ford, Jameson Houston (see below), Michael Jacquet, Elijah Riley, Darius Slay, and K’Von Wallace.
• Eagles elevate CB Jameson Houston from the practice squad for Sunday night’s game
Houston was signed to the practice Game Adrian Killins Jersey, squad on November 25 and was previously elevated for the games against the Saints and the Cardinals. Houston gives the Eagles a third true cornerback for tonight’s game.
The 5-11, 200-pound Houston is a rookie free agent out of Baylor. He signed with the Cleveland Browns following the draft and was waived in August. He quickly landed with the Carolina Panthers – and his former college coach Matt Rhule – and remained there until the final roster cutdown.
An All-Big 12 honorable mention by the coaches in 2019, Houston started all 14 games at cornerback and finished the year with 44 tackles, Adrian Killins Jersey Amazon, eight pass breakups, and one interception. The Austin, Texas native was also a state champion in the 200-meter dash in high school.
